i was banned while defending myself from a hostile guy but when i report him nothing happens

I truly understand your situation and I am really sorry you are going through this.

Unfortunately, there are people like this that do that so you can be hostile back so they can report you. In this situation, the only thing that should be done is report and block, because if you know they mean harm to you in any way, it is not beneficial to answer. If you say bad things back to this kind of people, you only give them a reason for them to report you.

I understand how difficult is to stay calm while people are saying harmful things, and that we want to defend ourselves, but in these situations, reporting and blocking is the best solution because they cannot do that anymore to you.

Even if you are answering back to harmful things, if you are also saying harmful things, you can be reported and suspended, and these people know that. So please, if this ever happens again, just report and block, this will make you safe, will not cause you trouble, and will leave your mental health, healthier.

You say this person uses special characters to trick the moderation ( it is not a system, it is truly a team with people working on it ) but with that, you notice that not only does this person mean harm, but they are also smart enough to try and trick you and the moderation team. This kind of person and situation does not deserve your time. Next time, try preserving yourself by quickly blocking the person.

are you guys always so bias when you ban people? im just curious because I find it funny that when I report people for bullying and harassment your enforcement team does absolutely nothing about my report and no ban is issued yet you ban me for defending

Everyone got so hostile when I admitted to a communication suspension. As I said, I was defending myself.

I was reported and banned from communications when someone was trash talking me during our game and I sent one message back after and I get banned for a day. I have had my xbox live service for 9 years and never had something like this happen before. I
even reported the guy and blocked him after and I'm sure nothing was done to him.

If you hurt someone roughly, and he tells you, you can be banned, and you will be blocked for several days or weeks.
