I want to unlink my Microsoft account but my Minecraft is glitched.

So I've been having troubles with my Minecraft and it's connected Microsoft account. Years ago, I used an email I have now forgotten to make a Microsoft account and connect it to my Minecraft. I used to play on the PlayStation 4 but I've switched to 5. When I reach the menu screen of Minecraft, it shows that I should be able to sign in and doesn't seem to have any memory of having an account connected until I select the sign in button, then it shows that I have an account connected but it doesn't tell me the email, only the old username I had selected. It then goes back to not knowing that there is an account connected. I'm aware once you log in with an account you can't add a new one after but not having one would be better than having a glitched out game.

As you don't remember the email you can fill out the Microsoft account recovery form: https://support.microsoft.com//acco...the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1- a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42 If you can, just follow the procedure below:

Start Minecraft and go to Settings > Profile;
Select Unlink Microsoft account;

As i said to someone else If you go on your PS4 MC then got to settings, profile, then while logged into the microsoft account you dont want, go down to Unlink Microsoft Account. It sadly doesnt work for me
and says maybe check internet connection. Tell me if it say the same for you

Yes, I get the same error message (check your internet settings) when I try to unlink my sons minecraft account that is connected to his PS4. By accident, I linked MY microsoft account to his (PS4) minecraft account. Is there a way to reset this? Please!
I really want to play minecraft with my son!

I contacted support a year ago. Minecraft sent me to microsoft. microsoft to minecraft. They were wasting my time without coming up with a solution. Minecraft has been linked to an already deleted account. Now I can't delete my unwanted microsoft account. Because not all accounts have the right to unlink an erroneous link? How bad am I. I want to play on the main account, I am very offended by the attitude of microsoft and minecraft!!!

Please open Minecraft on your device. Go to Settings > Account > Linked Accounts.

Select the linked Microsoft account and look for an Unlink option.

Confirm the unlinking when prompted.

If incase issue persist after performing the steps, kindly reach out to Minecraft Support and submit a ticket to them.

Mention to them that you want to unlink the Microsoft account that is linked to your Minecraft account. They should be able to give help because they are trained to fix in-game account issues like this.

I want to put my account on my ps5 but when I log in it says it’s already connected to another PlayStation, how do I unlink the account if I don’t have what it’s connected to help pls I just want to use my minecraft account 😢

You wouldn't be able to link a different account even if you could unlink it.

Note: Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account. 

If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be re-linked to the original account.
