I want to stream for streamlabs but it says "you need to link a subscription" how do I do it?

You could be watching some old tutorial, currently to stream on console you need a subscription, this does not depend on Microsoft.

So I do need a subscription but in the tutorial videos is shows that the person doesn't have a subscription yet he is using the service.

At the moment you can only stream your xbox to Twitch and Mixer, if you want to stream to Youtube, you'd need a PC/Laptop in order to do that.

If you're still waiting for an Elgato (you'll still need a PC/Laptop for this), then for now you can use the Xbox Companion App and stream your Xbox there, then using software such as Streamlabs OBS or OBS to stream to Youtube.

The only way to do that is to stream via a computer streamlabs or some other streaming service .

But as mentioned it's because of privacy and security you cant do that on xbox 👍
