I want to remove settings app from my games. Please tell how to do that.

The instructions above were for removing the Xbox App, which is not what you want.

Instead, launch the settings app again, and then press Windows+G to open the Game Bar again.

In the settings of the game bar for the Settings App, under the "General" Tab, you should see a "Remember this as a game".

Remove the checkmark from that option to make the Game Bar "forget" about the Settings App being a game.

Try installing the app via PowerShell again by opening a PowerShell command prompt as Administrator and run the following command:

Get-AppxPackage | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register „$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml“ -DisableDevelopmentMod}

I have followed your steps and uninstall the app but now I can't install it. It shows get option in store but it doesn't show any response after clicking on it multiple times

How did you add that there if you don't mind me asking? I would've assumed that was a glitch but I'm not sure how that could've happened.

I suggest re-installing the Xbox app and see if that helps.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

You cannot remove the settings tab that is where most of the personalized settings of controllers profile connections ect are.

So cannot be removed at all.
