i want to remove a old ea account from my xbox account

Somehow my xbox is still linked to an old EA account I had deleted years ago, and EA support can neither unlink it nor restore the account. Definitely broken. It would be nice if xbox could somehow purge it from my account on this side. EA won't even try to help you with this.

Origin Accounts are the same as the old EA Accounts. If you already had an EA account then you just need to log into Origin (software, game,or website) with your old EA creditials. EA support might be able to merge accounts, they merged my old BF2 account
into my EA account a long while back.

Not a solution but I'm just here to "voice" my frustration with this as well. Unlinking a 3rd party from my Xbox account shouldn't be this difficult to do.

EA makes this whole situation seem needlessly more complicated and not just EA but Microsoft as well. Microsoft themselves could easily remove the EA account off our profiles just like I can go on Twitter, Facebook, and other sites and remove other apps access.

Anyway, thanks to this I can't play any EA games online since I can't remember an email address I made when I was like 13 years old.

I want to switch the email from my older more used account, to my newer email, but I cannot seem to do so, since a Xbox account has automatically been created. How can I delete the Xbox account from my new email, so I can use my new email to replace my old Xbox account? (This whole thing started with me not being able to sign into my EA account, cause my Xbox account was signed into an older email.)

You cant. The Microsoft account IS the Xbox account. They are all one in the same.

I have checked the link and the only thing linked to it is my Steam account nothing else. When I try to install a game Through the Xbox app I just get "something went wrong to continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over" And when i try to link it on the EA website I just get "connect_error_social_login_failure" and it tells me to reset the password But changing the password doesn't do anything and I just get the same message again. When i go my account in the settings from the XBOX app and click manage for EA nothing at all happens. I'm thinking that it is an EA problem but they don't want to admit to it. I don't know what to do anymore or who to talk to about this. I'm sorry for being such a bother. I'm just really confused about it all.
