    I want to know if Phil Spencer will do release for a external disk drive for xbox one/...


    I as a xbox series s user who live in the middle East have low speed internet connections and have low pay rate can only buy used disc games and maybe digital but it's took to long to download I want to ask if there a project for a external disk drive that can play cd dvd blueray and games but it must be atleast 50$ or so I hope you answer my question and may Phil look at this and make this possible.

    No one here is privy to plans for future Xbox

    If you wish a disc drive on a current console you can get a series X

    There is no way to Jerry-rig a Series S to accept a disc drive due to DRM requirements. The system would have to be redesigned. and you would have to purchase that revision.

    No they confirmed it just takes a few kilobytes to do the check then turn off your hotspot. Simple, this was confirmed by phil spencer, he would know.
