I want to do a factory reset will that erase any of my progress on my games

All of your game progress is automatically stored in the cloud storage of your profile. No worries the game progress will load up automatically once you launch the game again.

The games and apps will also still be there just make sure to choose "Reset and keep my games & apps."

so if i chose factory reset, ill have to erase all data including games, then re install games and still keep my progress?

Hello again, this does not erase your progress, it only reinstalls the system, nor are the games deleted.

Even the total factory reset does not erase progress because they are saved to your Microsoft cloud account.

Im so sorry dude but when you mean removes, does it terminate it or can I sign back into it? Cuz if it completely erases it and I lose all of my game progress i wont factory reset.

I did a factory reset and chose to do it offline without erasing anything. After it reset and I reconnected my system to the internet, it was able to do the update without any issues.
