I want to discover my IP without the console.

I had the same error code/problem. I discovered that I would only get the error code when my computer which uses a VPN was signed into Windows Live mail and I attempted to sign in to Xbox live without the VPN. The 2 IP conflicted. I resolved it by signing
out of Windows mail with my VPN IP, waited for 5 minutes then signed into Xbox. It works ok now.

I have xbox console companion, but I don't know how to get the Xbox's IP without turning it on. Any other way to get the IP without turning it on?

I need my public ip not my i address. I know it is at whatsmyip.com, but how do I put the public ip into my router so I can port foward?

I ended up giving the console a manual IP, and then putting that IP as a DMZ on my router. It worked for about 6 hours yesterday with no connection issues, so it's a fix, but the fact that it works perfectly now suggests that there must be something else
wrong with my router configuration preventing it from connecting without the IP set as DMZ. Thoughts?

Discovered this week that some 'groups' (business and personal) that have accounts via Microsoft are registered in such a way that they end up NOT BEING BLOCKED by the system command links. I discovered this by searching for the owner of (location of) the
IP address. On various accounts I discovered that (in SPITE of what Microsoft said) the IP in question was registered with them and using their equipment to send these messages. Even though they argued that the emails did not 'originate' from their 'systems',
The emails use their addresses (ie…. 'Hotmail.com' ect…) and the senders simply write their email at another site, and 'forward' it to their 'Hotmail' (or whatever account) and send it on from there. THIS way Microsoft can claim it is 'not their problem'
and refuse to act on the matter, yet keep the income generated from these groups. TOTALLY UNSCROUPLAS ACTIONS on the part of Microsoft. They have YET to refute these claims or even answer my initial emails about this. You can look up most IP addresses and
