I want to create new Microsoft email and delete my old now how do I keep my xbox account...

I need to delete an xbox account with my email on it, so I can change the email on the xbox account I actually use to the email on the account I deleted.

Someone set up my account with their email, and for something I had to make my own xbox account with my own email, so how can I use my email on the first account?

I don't want to delete the gmail email itself on the account that will be deleted, so what should I do?

Both accounts are technically mine, and the person who set it up for me does not use Xbox services. Their email is only going to no longer be affiliated with the first account, the one I wish to keep.

What do I do?

As far as i am aware (someone can correct me if I am wrong) once you delete the account you wouldn't be able to use the same email again to create a new account.

Also the xbox account and email are essentially one and the same so since the first account was created with someone elses email the xbox account technically belongs to them. At least thats how support would typically see it.

I created an XBOX live subscription on the PC, with my email.

Now i want to sign into XBOX live on my XBOX profile, using same EMAIL.

I don't want a new profile, i want to keep using my old one.

With this account's email/password for XBL.

You can't transfer an Xbox profile from one Microsoft account to another but you can change the primary alias.

According to Xbox Support:

"Concerned about your licenses? Don’t worry—if you change your account alias, or remove an alias and then add a new one, all licenses linked to your Microsoft account will remain with your account."

In managing an account alias, make sure to set the new Microsoft email address as the new alias because this may cause complications with your account such as the deletion of your Xbox profile.

I want to switch the email from my older more used account, to my newer email, but I cannot seem to do so, since a Xbox account has automatically been created. How can I delete the Xbox account from my new email, so I can use my new email to replace my old Xbox account? You cant. The Microsoft account IS the Xbox account. They are all one in the same.

No, I don’t think my account was hacked I think it might’ve been a bug. Prior to migrating my Mojang account to Microsoft. I’ve never had a Microsoft account. I accidentally used the same Microsoft email address I used to Migrate my Mojang account to a Microsoft to create a new Microsoft account. Now it somehow it deleted my old Xbox account that my Minecraft account was linked to.

Now every time when I login into Minecraft it tells me I need to buy the game. I still have the email in my inbox showing that I used the same Microsoft email address to Migrate my Mojang account it you want me to provide that to you.

In the screenshot below is my old Xbox account “” which is connected to my Minecraft account below. The active account “OUTLOSTLOL” is the new account which is the same one that was created with the same email address as the old one. When I look up my old Xbox account “” it shows that it no longer exists. It must’ve somehow gotten deleted when I created a new Microsoft account.
