    Transfer files from pc to xbox

    Hello. I need help with my XBOX 360 SE.

    I have few games on my computer and want to transfer those games on XBOX. How can I do that. I've looked over Google and many suggested to transfer files via FTP. I tried transferring files via FTP but nothing happens. FTP client on computer doesn't connect to XBOX's IP Address. Anywho, how can I transfer the files on XBOX from computer.

    Note: I haven't moded my XBOX. It's original.

    another thing is when the setting on the xbox is set to automatic IP it gives me one that starts with 169 but the DHCP is on. I've used this router for the past 2 years with no problems. so I don't want to start messing my computer connection up if that
    is still working.

    Update-

    While my main computer was turned on and connected to the internet I started up the Xbox today and powercycled to connect, upon connecting to Xbox Live a "Network Error" appeared on my computer stating "another computer on this network has the same IP address
    as this computer. Contact admins for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows System event log." so i think this might be an ip address issue with the xbox. I still havent got a clue on how to fix though as i have already tried
    Manual IP address

    Manual Ip Address info used for Xbox settings were

    IP Address: 192.168.001.244

    subnet Mask : 255.255.255.000

    Gateway 192.168.001.254

    Yes i tried that before and no luck. Im using the hotels free wifi. Im getting the connection to my computer just fine but it just get an ip to my xbox. My computer is also identifying the xbox fine. When i turn it on it pops up on my computer.

    Shina Schatten, you are a life saver!!! Thanks! I also think stankytwerk is right about ip adresses. Because I'm loged in on my job with one connection via my computer and then when I come home - I connect through another connection via my console. And when
    I checked my activity as xXjdooksXx2 suggested I've noticed that not only my ip's are different but their locations are in different cities! That's why the system though it was suspicious and I got mails about strange logins. On my computer i was able to verify
    my log in with a code, but console just can't do that. So that trick with making console "trusted" is GENIOUS!!! Hat's off to you gentlemen: Shina Schatten, stankytwerk and xXjdooksXx2
