i want to close epic game launcher so i can unistall it. how do i do that?

I did exactly as you said Ctrl+alt+del. Clicked on task manager, a window opened up saying there are no apps running. so i went to apps and features, clicked on epic games launcher, a window came up saying it's getting it ready to uninstall, then another window came up saying that it's still running.

Hello William, if it is open in Windows and you cannot close it, do the Ctrl+Alt+Del command on your keyboard and then click on Task Manager.

Task Manager - Clicking or tapping on Task Manager opens the Windows tool bearing the same name, after that find the Epic App and click close.

And to unistall a App, follow the procedures below.

Open the Start Menu.

Click Settings.

Click Apps.

Select Apps & features from the left-hand side menu.

Select the Program or App that you want to uninstall from the list that appears.

Click the uninstall button that shows under the selected program or app.

Hello again, after uninstalling, restart your PC, and when it is on the home screen, return to the apps again to see if it was uninstalled.

If the program is blocked by Smart App Control, the only way to open it would be by disabling this feature temporarily.

Open Settings and select Privacy & security > Windows Security.

Select App & browser control > Smart App Control settings. Turn Smart App Control off.

Then you can run the uninstaller and re-enable Smart App Control after.
