I want to buy games that I can play just with kinect (no controller). Does WWE15 need ...

Yes you have to use the controller to play WWE 2K15..... the last wrestling game they made that you didnt use controllers on was for the 360 kinect and it sucked...

GOOD GAMES. online MP/CO-OP. GOOD CONTROLLER. hard drive/portable. PRICE.

I dont want to buy, need or already have: blue tooth. blueray. wifi. kinect. voice/video command. hdmi imput. basically anything that does not improve playing games. paying $499 for all the extra stuff I dont want. Im NOT buying this stuff.

I would like a HARDCORE gaming console thats 110% designed for playing games only. Then I will buy it.

Its not the ads that kill me. its the fact that it seems now that almost every game going forward involves Kinect in some fashion. every MS press conference at a trade show is 90% Kinect these days it seems.

I don't want Kinect. I'm not buying Kinect. I just want to play regular games with my regular controller.

Why not offer both?

1) Console with Kinect.

2) Console without Kinect and the option to add later.

People saying forcing Kinect onto the buyer is going to help developers make games for it are idiots.

If you do not want Kinect...you'll not buy games for it anyway. So what is the point?

All forcing Kinect on to people will do it show everyone HAS Kinect...not how many people USE it.

Where as, selling console in 2 options will give developers a clearer set of numbers on people that have Kinect AND actually use it.

A FAR better option.

Again, if you are just going to unplug Kinect and let it gather dust...then you'll not buy Kinect games. This does not help developers at all.

On the same note, how is having a portion of people unplugging Kinect going to encourage developers to make games with Kinect? It's exactly the same as just not having Kinect to begin with.

To finish, Kinect games were and still are being developed for the 360...and Kinect was not forced onto people then either.

The argument that forcing Kinect onto people will help developers is asinine.

As for reasons I do not want Kinect.

I play games after I finish work to relax. My job has me on my feet for 10-12 hours a day and I use my voice continually.

So when I come home and want to play some games. I want to sit down in a comfy chair and relax with a controller in my hands.

What I do not want to do is stand around waving my limbs or having to use my voice unnecessarily.

I am more then happy to press a button to turn on my console and TV. I'm more then happy to use my thumb to move a stick to navigate menus, etc.

I do not care if voice commands are "faster"...I'm just not that lazy.

Kinect is great for some people...I'm not one of them.

As it stands, I'll not buy the new Xbox with Kinect being forced onto me...whether I can unplug it or not.

Kinect does not appeal to me, nor does buying a piece of hardware I will not use.

However, selling the console with the option of no Kinect...then down the line if I change my mind I can go out and buy Kinect separately...then they have a sale.

If Microsoft REALLY want to force hardware onto people, how about something they will use. Like another controller or a bigger HDD?

What Kinect can do is amazing now but if it goes down can I still play? I just want to buy a game and play it IT'S THAT FRIGGEN SIMPLE!
