    I want to BUY AoE games. I do not have Xbox. I will not buy Xbox. I want to BUY the games to play on my laptop. I do not want to pay a monthly fee for games I don't play daily. Why can't I buy the games?!

    If you use the Xbox app to purchase them, it gives the option to buy them.

    Then the other solution would be to use Steam or somewhere else that sells it for the PC. For some reason the Microsoft store apps redirects to the Xbox app for purchase.

    You can buy the games individually

    Game Pass is not required. Are you getting an error when you try to purchase it?
