    I want to buy a game I refunded, but my xbox says i still own it.


    I bought Call of Duty Cold War when it came out, but refunded it. I wanted to buy it again, but my xbox says I still own the game. When I try to install it, my xbox says "installation stopped." I've already reset my console, removed my account, and tried everything that articles have recommended, but it still says I own the game. I play on the xbox one S, and the console is updated and has had no similar software issues in the past.

    I presume you got the refund back in your account. Sounds like you may need to speak to Xbox Support to see what is going on with the license.

    It may take a couple of hours to 24 hours for the in-game item or currency to be removed from your account, Martin.

    Thank you for clarifying that, I uninstalled the DLC for the Murder Miners game and its gone from my install list so that worked. I’m gonna try to uninstall and reinstall Fortnite to see if any changes happen, if not i’ll contact Epic Games to see of they

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on refund. When requesting a refund, we only supply the money back. The game server itself is responsible for removing the content, which is Epic games. This usually takes about 1-3 days for
    them to remove the content. If the DLC is able to be uninstalled we recommend doing that.
