I understand you wanted to enable Two-Step Authentication on your account. The usual process of activating 2FA, is to have access to the Microsoft account. itself If you don't remember the email address or password associated with your account, you can try to recover your account by visiting the Microsoft account recovery page - Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password - Microsoft Support

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your old Microsoft account. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

You will need to locate your old Microsoft account that is linked to your Minecraft first. In order to do this, kindly sign in to all of your Microsoft email accounts on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > order history.

From there, check if you have any Minecraft transactions. If you have found the transaction, that is the same Microsoft account that is linked with your Minecraft.

If you haven't found any Minecraft transactions, check your Microsoft accounts' order history.

Once you have found your old Microsoft account, please reach out to Mojang Support for an account unlink request as they have the tools and resources to properly investigate this case:

the account connected to my old gamertag is a microsoft account, but it doesn't have @outlook or @hotmail) and the new email account that I want to be connected to my old gamertag is also a microsoft account but @gmail, not @outlook or @hotmail

All I have is the email and my PlayStation account that it is permanently Linked to I don’t have 2fa and I still have access to that email that is associated to that account do I just keep trying until I get approved?
