    I want my Old gaming name again?


    Ok my current gaming name is Rippofungus

    On A Xbox platform.

    Years back when WOT first started ( ya really just started).

    I played on a PC and loved it !

    And was good got a free tee shirt from WOT

    world of tanks Evolution shirt.

    Anyway reason for post is to see if it is possible to get my old gaming name back ?

    Probably a lot to ask!

    My old gaming name was ( Rippo )

    Anyway hopefully a WOT admin would be able to assist.

    They do not recognize my old account. They are telling me to get a new game tag, or giving me some ridiculous name and want that I buy the game. That is not happening. I want my old account access or I do not play the game.

    XBL, Games for Windows Live and Zune all use the Gamer Tag feature. So if it isn't being used here it is possible it is being used on one of the other two services.

    Will they ever purge old account names again?

    Also should be noted that even if the OG name is free and you have an active name with a hashtag it won't work you would have to do 2 changes and hope the name is free by the next server refresh by changing to another name then trying yet again

    This is why the gamertag system.was changed so you can have the name regardless of who owns it

    You will just have to come up with a different spelling
