I understand the purpose of the promo.

I ALSO understand what you were saying before...

I See what you're saying now.

The thing is, you're talking out of your trousers! Looking at the ACTUAL terms and conditions there is NOTHING that says promo codes don't count, that you must click on one of the three options, that auto renew has to be on... NOTHING.

PLEASE... IF you're going to post again, go read the terms before trying to make up some new reason for why we won't get it. The thing is, with the way the promo is worded I GUARANTEE that a lawyer will say they have to honor it for ANYONE that goes gold
during the promo and through its sign up.

 

How can you not understand that redeeming a code is not making a purchase? You made the purchase of the codes sometime in the past and then later redeem them. Wherever you got the codes from is where the purchase was made. Redeeming them is not a purchase!
That's all there is to it. Pretty simple really.

 

How can YOU not understand that MS DOES get paid for these codes?

Further, how can you not understand that this promo and its terms do NOT contain any language that you guys said was typically there!

It's right there in what you posted "Offer Not valid on prior xbox live purchase..." You purchased the code at an earlier time. That is a prior purchase. Redeeming is not the same as purchasing.

 

Um not really... ALL coupons and promos have to say "not valid on prior purchase" to prevent people from trying to get money back when they just bought x or y and saw the new deal.

Considering a code a prior purchase is one POSSIBLE way to interpret that but since NO one was saying that before its just more speculation. There is NOTHING mentioned about codes...

 

I don't know what to tell you if you refuse to acknowledge the facts. Entering a code is not a purchase. You redeemed something that you had purchased at a prior time. There is nothing more to say. Good luck to you on your pursuit of alternative truths.

Do you acknowledge that contracts hinge upon the precise definitions and understandings of terms and words? The point I am making is that this promo is SO poorly worded that NO answer so far has been truly clear.

I PROMISE you and I will post proof later that I will get the promo code. Either because they will grant it normally or because the Indiana Attorney Generals office will take issue with the wording of the terms...

I wonder if you will deny that truth when I post it or if you will admit you were wrong and apologize?

qualify you for this promotion.
