I want my 15 bucks in credits now, not in six weeks

Your promotion clearly says on the Dashboard, go gold now and recieve a 15 dollar promotional gift code, it doesn't say 'recieved in 6-8 weeks'. I claim false advertising, send a code to my email for this account, now.

Terms and conditions for dashboard offers are always posted on the bottom of the screen. So it would include information on how and when you should receive the codes.

I found some information on the current deal that's available. If you purchased a 1 year subscription you get $15 back. If you purchased a 3 month subscription, you get $10 back. The promotional code should be sent to you in 4 weeks which is stated in the

Also, if this is the account you purchased the gold on, you may want to check
http://commerce.microsoft.com to make sure your purchase went through because you are not showing as a gold member.

And a few hours after posting THAT ^, I get that *** "Add Security" nonsense and then an error, and am unable to sign into Xbox Live.

That's bush league, Microsoft. Great customer service right there, sabotaging someone because they aren't happy with you online. Eat ***.

 

I pushed on this dashboard offer today and I used a 3 month code I had, am I still eligible for the offer? Any helpful reply would be much appreciated.

 

You have to purchase the gold through the offer. Prepaid codes will not qualify.

 

Then WHY is use a code an option when you click THROUGH that promotion? Also, there is NOTHING in the terms that states that codes will not work...

With dashboard promotions you only get the credits if you purchase directly from the promo. The redeem code option is on the purchase screen by default.

 

Its also in the terms and conditions of the offer.

Which means autorenewal has to be turned on

There are very few offers that allow prepaid codes

Usuallly stared in the offer itself if prepaid codes are accepted

 

In most dashboard deals it will state autorenewal will bebturned on or you need to purchase this promotion

There is NOTHING in here that says that codes do not work Therefore, they HAVE to give us the promised promos.

The promos are to get you to purchase gold from Microsoft. Since prepaid codes would not be a purchase from Microsoft it would not qualify. Also, in order to get the promo, you have to select the subscription you want to purchase from the ad with card you
will get back. The redeem code option does not have any options to get money back.
