The only way to get a refund would be to submit a refund request through the account that purchased it within 14 days of purchase. So it wouldn't be eligible for a refund. And nothing can be transferred between accounts. So if you want the game on your new account, you would have to purchase it on that account.

Thank you, but this didn't work either. I tried creating a new Windows account and logged onto the fresh account, logged into XBOX, downloaded Minecraft, and the same error popped right back up.

The new local account, when I downloaded minecraft onto it, ran everything just fine, no account login. It did not fix the issue on my main profile though.

I can log onto the website, but not on the account with my Minecraft account.

I created a new account, verified that all of the privacy settings were correct, and signed into minecraft with that account, which is under the name "". however, a new issue arises. with that account, i only have access to the demo version of minecraft, and cannot log onto a multiplayer server to test the chat feature as a result. is there a way for me to transfer my old mojang character over to a new microsoft account?
