Why can you not recover your gamertag? Have you forgotten the email and password?

You will need to contact phone support and ask them to look for your gamer tag and if they can find it they will go through a security process with you. And if you pass they can give you your email if not your only hope will be to locate the last console
it was saved on and hope you had the profile to auto sign in. If this is the case you'll be able to get the email off the console.

I'm having several issues with this, and they have to do more with Microsoft Live accounts than anything. 1.My GamerTag MedMan555 is connected to an old email, which is connected to it's own separate Live account. The email account has since expired, and

I have had the same problems with my new xbox and the update except it asks for my email and password and each time i enter it it says it wrong even though i wrote it down and still know what it is. I have been to the forgotten password page and it says
you actually have to log in which is impossible.

Hello jmz731, if you have forgotten your email and were unable to verify your account with a Support Agent you will have to try and remember any old emails you may have used and then attempt to log in or reset the password.

When you attempt to log in or reset password with an email address that is not a Microsoft Account it will let you know that it is not a valid email.

If you are still unable to remember your email then you will have to make a new MSA and Gamertag.
