    I used the 14-day free gold trial, but suddenly I don't have gold anymore?


    I'm not sure if it's in part with that whole DDOS *** yesterday, but I used the code once I did the Day One update, I go to the marketplace to download Worms Battlegrounds, and suddenly while I'm in the middle of installing it, it says I don't have gold.
    I tried re-entering the code, but it says it's already been used.

    I don't know what to do :\

    I just bought a Xbox and i put the 14 day xbox gold trial code in the store but i can't download the free xbox gold games. It always says that i don't have xbox gold.

    Just bought GOLD but it still says that I am Free

    I am assuming the 14 days of gold is a free trial as microsoft do not sell 14 day gold memberships.. Free trials do not give you access to all the gold features. This is meant to be used to test the xbox live features. If you want access to gold exclusive
    demos and access apps that require gold membership you will need to purchase a proper gold membership.

    Gold trials do not change your account status to gold. They just give you access to some aspects of online multiplayer. You need a full gold subscription in order to download the games with gold games.

    Hello, I have the same issue. I used bundled 14-day code and I can't play Worms or the other game viking. Shame it wasn't some kind of information that this GOLD is limited. It would save me and others confusion.

    actually there is info on the card itself

    this is only a trial and has LIMITED multiplayer functions and do not give you FULL gold

    this has been known for years

    I lost the option for 1 month free trial gold

    As far as I am aware there is no free trial for gold accounts anymore. There is a Gamepass free trial however. 14 days.

    Some games or console bundles may include a prepaid code for a 2, 3, or 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.

    The free account users might have been using gold trials and their profile doesn't turn orange because of the trial gold e.g 2 days, 7 days, 14 days etc...

    Was it a gold trial, or a full gold code?

    If it was only a 2 day or 14 day gold trial, you can not get the free games.
