    Games install but game updates freezing at XX%

    I did manage to finally finish the online update. I thought it was stuck at 96% but after an hour or so it jumped to 97%.I ended up falling asleep for about 9 hours and seen that it was finished when I woke up. I wasn't surprised it took that long,the update
    said it was 600 MB and I have very crappy internet. It took me 8 hours just to get the 500 MB system update when I took the system out the box.

    I can confirm, it ships with all the software, but its out of date software. Does anyone else not know about file sizes? Does anyone really think the entire OS was 500 MB?

    Discs aren't being read; console OS not the newest after update.

    Same issue here.

    I am not sure of the software version number, I did not even think to look. I did get a 500 mb update. I read somewhere that it was expected to be a 1.3 gb update.

    my x box asked me to update the system last night it was an update of 250+ mb .... sine then i am not able to play any game when the disk is in the message displays "there was a problem with the update please retry" when you click try again the same message
