    I turned of the recurring bill and deleted my card ,why is my card information still on...


    I am extremely fustrated ,i have paid for one game ,i have never ever signed up to microsoft xbox,

    first off i have no xbox , secondly i did not sign up for the xbox game pass.

    I starting getting charged for the xbox game pass and haven’t noticed until now.

    I have been charged three times 7.99 so i tried previously to fix it by turning off the recurring bill and i deleted my debit card and yet microsoft with my my card being there charged me because apparently microsoft kept my debit card illegally on my account after deleting my card .I want to have all my money back dating back to october 18th 2022 ,18th November 2022 18th December 2022 ,all three were 7.99 so thats £23.97 i feel like it is unfair that microsoft would take my money and not give it back i have never used any of the passes and i feel like i deserve my money back.

    We truly understand how you feel right now. As per description you've been charged automatically by Xbox Game Pass through your credit card account without your knowing and you did not remember signing up a subscription. Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern.

    However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

    1. Have you check if someone from the family or a relative asks your card for payment on this previously?
    2. When did you turn off recurring bill status?
    3. Did you notify issuing bank for this incident and order a stop payment for this transaction?
    Just to set your expectation, Xbox Forum has no access to any Microsoft account information. We can only suggest for you to do the following.

    1. Contact the issuing bank and report the incident that is happening to your credit card.
    2. Contact our real - time support to check what is going on with your account.
    3. Request for a refund.

    There are several reasons why you are getting that;

    - The subscription is still active

    - Recurring billing is turned on

    - The subscription is past due and not cancelled.

    Kindly turn off recurring billing and cancel the subscription, afterwards you can try to remove the card again.

    nope, you can't I had the same type of issue before except I had a code and it required a card. It's because of recurring billing you can add a card then turn off recurring billing and then remove the card :)
