    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues playing with your friends on Forza Horizon. To isolate your issue, please make sure that you and your friends' game version are exactly the same.

    Once confirmed, logout from you and your friend's account and log back in to resync your profiles.

    If the initial steps did not work, delete and re-add your friend from your friend's list.

    To also clarify, my NAT type says Open when I test it directly but says moderate when I try to test multiplayer specifically. Still doesn't affect joining matchmaking, only issue is the joining friends lobby problem
