There should be a choice then at the bottom of the screen I think it is hit X button to sign in or sign out try hitting that first.

I load the game. I do not put any sign in information in at all. It asks me to sign in and has one button. The sign in button. It does nothing and that’s the only button it allows me to push. If I hit the red X it says failed to sign in then all I can do is quit the game

Then you need to recover your account , from Xbox.com to your Xbox .

To do this , follow this process .

1.) To start the process of recovering your account, you must first be signed out of the account you are signed into.

( Guide Button > "X" Button > "Yes Sign Out")

2.) Hit the guide button on your controller and select the "Recover GamerTag" option.

3.) Continue to follow the directions on the screen:

a.) Enter the GamerTag in which you are trying to recover

b.) You will need to enter your Windows LIVE ID email as well as your password associated with that profile.

c.) You will then need to click "Accept" on the Terms of Use to be able to sign into LIVE

When you load up your 360 Backwards compatible game and hit the start and select buttons to bring up the 360 guide instead of going to download profile and choosing that have your tried clicking the X button to sign in and signing in?
