I try to buy something, yet to no avail.

So, it's a normal Monday, get on my Xbox to find out that my Gold membership has expired. To fix this problem, I went to the store, headed to the memberships tab, and make an attempt to renew my online membership. I then get a pop-up that states that something
happened and to wait a bit. I wait around 7-10 minutes and try again, but that doesn't help. Can an employee please help with this problem?

There's currently a known issue with purchases. https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status?xr=shellnav

You'll want to wait for that to clear up and then try again.

Okay, so as it turns out, I had to wait an hour for the glitch to go away. It's fixed now.
