I tried to install naraka bladepoint but it said 0x87E00017 even though I use drive D to install which I still have 200 GB left

The error code "0x87E00017" usually indicates a problem with the storage space or the install location. Even though you have 200 GB left on your D: drive, the error might be because the system is trying to install or perform some operations on the C: drive, which may not have enough space.

Here are some steps you can try:

-> Change the default install location: Go to 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Storage', then click on 'Change where new content is saved'. Here, you can set your D: drive as the default location for new apps.

-> Check your C: drive for sufficient space: Despite setting D: as the install location, some game files may still temporarily use C: drive storage during installation. If your C: drive is full, consider clearing some space.

-> Clear Temporary Files: Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. Then, type 'temp' and press Enter. This will open the folder where Windows stores temporary files. You can safely delete most or all of the files in this folder, as they are not needed for your system to function.

-> Reset the Microsoft Store Cache: Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. Then, type 'wsreset.exe' and press Enter. This will reset the cache of your Microsoft Store.

-> Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your computer is up to date with all Windows updates. Go to 'Settings' > 'Windows Update' > 'Check for updates'. Install any available updates and then restart your computer.

If none of these steps work, I would recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. Also, remember to back up any important data before performing significant system changes

Hi there! This is Ronnie, an independent advisor.

Nice to meet you and I hope you are having a great day!

I understand you need help installing your game.

Is this the only game not installing? Or is this happening to every game you try to install? Are you playing through game pass?

    Please do this:

Let's reset the Xbox app first then do a store reset as well.

Click Start and click Settings; Select Apps & features. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options. Click Reset then also click repair.

    Once done, please do this:

Click Start and search for wsreset, right click then open as admin, wait for the store to load up again.

Once done, restart your PC and try again please.

If that does not help, try installing it to another drive just to isolate the problem.

Xbox app won't load whenever I restart the PC and games give me an error [GameName] can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.

I'm using Windows 11. I tried uninstalling Naraka and restart my PC, but I still have the same problem with the Xbox app. All of my games are installed on D.

    Game Naraka Bladepoint not working

Hi Sara S, My name is Vanessa, an independent advisor, and I'm here to guide you on your case.

Error Code (0x0) is a generic error that can be caused by a variety of factors, such as hardware, driver, or game software issues.

Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:

Restart your PC. This may seem like a basic solution, but sometimes it's all that's needed to fix crashing issues.

Check that your internet connection is stable and that you have enough free space on your hard drive.

Uninstall and reinstall Naraka Bladepoint. This can fix issues with the game's installation.

Update your graphics drivers. Outdated graphics drivers can cause compatibility issues with some games.

Check the Naraka Bladepoint support forums to see if other users are experiencing the same problem. It's possible that someone has found a solution that you haven't tried.

Contact Naraka Bladepoint customer support. They can give you more help with fixing the problem.

    Specific Steps

Based on the information you have provided, here are some specific steps you can try:

Check that your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Naraka Bladepoint. If your PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements, it may not be able to run the game properly.
Check that your PC has the latest graphics drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers for your graphics card from the manufacturer's website.

Try starting the game in compatibility mode. To do this, right-click on the game's executable file and select "Properties". On the "Compatibility" tab, select an earlier version of Windows and click "OK".

Try starting the game with administrator privileges. To do this, right-click on the game's executable file and select "Run as administrator".

If you have tried all of these steps and you are still receiving the error (0x0), you may need to contact Naraka Bladepoint customer support. They can give you more help with fixing the problem.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help.

    Best regards,
    Vanessa.

Can't pre-install Gears 5 with Xbox (Beta) app using Ultimate Game Pass

I also tried lots of the above advice

In the end I unistalled gears then run game pass as admin. This then gave me the option to choose installation drive.

It seems it was trying to install to c: which didn't have enough room even though settings said d:

Running it as admin it gave me a choice of drives and actually started installing on d:

I have not had this issue with any other games (I think but they are possibly on c:?!)
