I tried to input a new debit card in but it won’t let me . I had to get a new card

Try from different browsers in incognito or private mode and entering your data in capital letters.

If Paypal payment method is available in your country, you can try to associate your card to a Paypal account and then associate Paypal to your Microsoft account.

I also bought a $25 gift card and tried it but it will not let me use that it's making me put a credit card in as a backup in case my subscription runs out.but I had lost my debit card recently and ordered a new one and so I have to use another method of
payment until I get the new card but the system will not allow me to bypass the lost card or remove it.

I have had the same problem as well. Last year I used my debit card, and then I had a new card sent to me and when I tried to change my payment plan they wouldn't accept the new card. Now this year I got a new bank account and wanted to renew my account
but to no avail. Card not accepted, enter a valid card number. Is there still no fix for this? To many people seem to have this same issue.

i think I just figured out why this happens...it has to do with the authentication of the credit card/debit card,that I had too many times declined by Microsoft, I will just get a new debit card and see if that fixes it!!!
