    i bought a "one month" xbox live gold to play with my friend. i was at home for one month only so I wanted to play just for one month. I go away from home and get charged another 7€.

    i want refund and the support service is a nightmare: spent 2 hours already trying to request a call from a phone operator: impossible. crazy waiting times to then receive a call from a voice mail that hangs up on me without even letting me talk to anyone.
    I am SICK of this.

    See, microsoft, if someone tries to call a phone operator it's because, apparently, they can't solve their problems through any electronic system nor chat. i would love to do everything online but the problem is that i don't have access to my xbox live email
    and therefore can't recover it. if this forum doesn't give me a viable option, i will have no choice but to extinguish my card (which i will probably do anyways since I'm switching debit card) not allowing microsoft to take anymore money from me. this last
    option would represent a failure to my eyes and my consequent effort to not buying a microsoft/xbox product/service ever again.

    if anyone had any suggestions it would be very much appreciated, as my nerves are through the roof right now.

    my problem is that i can't manage to log into the account on which i bought gold.

    don't remember the email nor any other info on my account. if i could check on my xbox, I would.

    the support seems impossible to contact, so I will probably have to extinguish my card...

    i did use it for one month(the first one, in which I was playing), just want the refund for the second month which I didn't use.

    i still believe it was not clearly specified when purchasing: i thought i was buying 1 month of gold.

    nevertheless, i should still be able to talk to someone to, if not get refund for something i didn't use, at least cancel the subscription without having to through the block of my card which is right now the only option i have to prevent them from taking
    7€ from me next month too...

    Subscriptions are never one time purchases

    Its in the name

    Its upto the user to cancel not the other way around thats the nature of subscriptions

    Should be noted if you actually goto

    Account

    Thats the only method of asking for a refund

    Generally therr isnt an refund for 1month since there is no prorated price for them since 1month is minimun

    log in to https://account.microsoft.com/ then subscriptions and then turn off auto renew.

    all companies when you subscribe to them have auto renewal active, it states this on sign up too.

    you could try contacting support to see if they can do a refund but might not as you agreed to the terms when you signed up for gold.

    I don't know anyone who has an Xbox one. This wasn't a well thought out way to get previous purchases that are tied to the account.
