Xb1x says not all 4k & hdr features supported

I will try plugging it into the wall without a surge protector, I have it connected to hdmi port 2 because the tv manual says ports 2 and 3 have hdr and hdmi 2.2 support.

And as far as the hdr setting on the tv I have it set to auto, the options are auto, hdr 10 and hdl. But come to think of it I just downloaded a firmware update that adds Dolby Vision to the tv.
I have the same model of Sony. You have to select HDR 10 as "auto" doesn't seem to work while playing games.

I think my sunspension was a bit much

    Hi there,

I'm afraid nobody in the forums will be able to assist regarding enforcement related issues or questions since there is no specific enforcement related section in here.

Since you have feedback, you can consider leaving the feedback regarding enforcement at
http://feedback.xbox.com it is the best place for any feedback and suggestions

Just to be sure if people with an active suspension read this too: Regarding an active suspension you will have to go to

    HDR

    Hi JayJoe1

I do find sometimes with the HDR on my monitor that it is a bit darker, but that's because of the smart HDR setting on my monitor which adjusts and adapts to the colors and screen effects.

Here's a link for some HDR support though that will hopefully help you a bit too.

So from my side, I'd its the smart HDR on the TV itself

    4k HDR

Unless I'm reading it wrong - which I hope I'm not - the OP is stating that Fortnite and Apex aren't showing HDR, but the others are. Fortnite
doesn't support HDR, it's an SDR only game. I'm pretty sure this applies to Apex as well.

If you run HDR on a none HDR enabled game, it won't look right. All the colours and saturation will be far too high. If HDR is set to auto and is working for other games that have HDR, then that's how it's supposed to work.

Screen issues with Xbox one X

You may have set your "color depth" setting too high, likely at "36-bits per pixel (12-bit)". Choose the next option, "30-bits per pixel (10-bit)".

I experienced this same problem when I initially set up my Xbox One X on my 4K/HDR TV, and fixed it by setting it to 10-bit color. I think 12-bit is for Dolby Vision TVs.
