    I think my xbox is dead for good.


    I got an xbox one around two years ago in october. Recently in the past month, it has been having issues with connecting to xbox live. Today, it wouldnt connect to xbox live at all and the screen was glitching everwhere. I don’t know what to do and I don’t
    want to get a new xbox before the series x.

    I think that the whole service is long dead. I liked Zune, used it on my old Xbox360 and even contemplated buying a Zune player but never did. I think it has been a good few years now that Zune is dead. I think they discontinued it around 2012.

    Hi there,

    have you tried connecting it to a different TV and to a different power socket to see if that makes any difference.

    If it doesn't help then please try this

    Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    Wait 30 seconds.

    Plug the power cord back in.

    Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. Note If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

    You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    This should show a menu with the option to factory reset the console, if it does not please try the steps again

    If that isn't working either, then it sounds like the console does need to be repaired, but to be sure I do suggest contacting Xbox Support too to see if they have any additional steps to try
