I think my console is now bricked

I now think the issue lays in the power brick i looked to see what happens when it shuts down and my powerbrick goes orange than the xbox shuts off think maybe its the power brick or maybe the issue is in the xbox

Icestorm, you said it better then I did. but that is what I with what you said to your answer to the first question. I know there is no universal power supply (power brick) but we did use the same brick for all consoles. What I mean to say is we used a NTSC
power brick, With PAL, NTSC-J and DEV consoles. We did use 2 different bricks though, But one was for new generation of 360 and the other was for older consoles, But they were both NTSC bricks

Which is why I said, We used the same brick....do you think I traveled around the world using the same power brick in a for example UK outlet....now that would be insane and I would fry the brick. but if you were to use a UK power brick to power a US console
there would be no problem...as the UK power supply converts 210 or whatever down or up or whatever.

I think I must've had a surge overnight as my sound bar was also turned off. I unplugged everything, and plugged the console power brick into the wall instead of the protector. Everything is good to go now. Thanks guys!

But do you guys think a voltage converter is good enough even if i game for a few hours a day or you think i should try getting my hands on an indian brick when it releases offically? Will the indian brick work in the us console straight into the wall?

If I can add to this .. I have a US XBOX now back in AUS ´i have ordered a AUS power supply from the XBOX Website. (also my power brick from the US is blown.. as i had shipped my box early .. eager flatmates plugged in the Power Brick .. without the XBOX
thank god..) so will the new AUS Brick work now with the US Console or do i need to oder a US Brick and then still buy the Transformer
