    I think it’s dead


    a couple weeks ago my Xbox froze and started giving me error codes. So I followed directions on how to factory reset. It then worked great again for about a week. Now I went a downloaded the free game of the month and it froze. Did the same thing wanted
    me to factory reset. So I did. It didn’t work this time and now all I get is power and no screen. The Xbox isn’t even communicated with the tv. I’ve tried multiple hdmi cords and now I can’t even get the best troubleshoot menu to appear. Please help!!!

    i recently got banned for no reason, at least I think, and I haven’t done anything to anyone. I believe I’m getting spam reported and it’s the second time it’s happened to me this month. I don’t send rude messages. When I do, however, it’s with friends.
    Please re evaluate this.

    I think it’s dead

    Hi there,

    have you tried connecting it to a different TV and to a different power socket to see if that makes any difference.

    If it doesn't help then please try this

    Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    Wait 30 seconds.

    Plug the power cord back in.

    Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. Note If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

    You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    This should show a menu with the option to factory reset the console, if it does not please try the steps again

    If that isn't working either, then it sounds like the console does need to be repaired, but to be sure I do suggest contacting Xbox Support too to see if they have any additional steps to try
