    Hello everyone,

    I hope you all have a great evening because I certainly didn't.

    I currently don't own an Xbox, but I did play a lot during the 360 times and a little bit on the xbox one and have had my gamertag/ Microsoft account ever since.

    However, I managed to get a series X pre order in on the official Microsoft store with my account, so in order to prepare for the hyped up launch, I decided to buy myself 3 12 month xbox live gold prepaid codes in order to convert them to gamespass ultimaye
    with the 1$ promotion from best buy Canada online.

    Today I received these 3 codes via email. So I launched the xbox app on my windows 10 PC that is using this very same gamertag to redeem these codes.

    However, in retrospect I should have been more cautious when I seen the pop-up as I remember seeing (United States) before redeeming the codes to my gamertag.

    I managed to redeem all 3 gold cards and my Microsoft account now tells me I have xbox live gold until September 2023.

    But now when I want go the Microsoft store for the 1$ promotion I get an error message with a region mismatch, because my Canadian gamertag with a Canadian billing address somehow has US xbox gold.

    I then opened a chat support window and explained the situation. They asked me where I bought the codes, I told them the whole story. The representative tells me that they want to help me and solve the issue, but they currently can't do that. That is he
    said they can either cancel the whole subscription or transfer it to Canada in 1 month. Apparently because I have the maximum amount of 36 months they are not able to fix it yet and I was told to contact them again in 30 days (got a reference number too)

    Obviously this is quite frustrating for me. But now to make things even weirder:

    When i go to my order history, my series X pre order isn't listed anymore after redeeming these codes, but all the other digital games purchases from years ago are. I then clicked the confirmation email I got from the pre order, and it still seems to exist
    there, but not under my account anymore?

    So I think i broke something and my account is in the US and canadian region at the same time. The pc xbox app tells me I have gold. The android xbox app tells me I don't have any subscription active (I.e. that i don't have gold).

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Yeah my app is messing up as well, unable to see any rewards to redeem in the Xbox app.

    So my Xbox live gold card expired so I got a new one and redeemed it I go and try one of my games I know I need the live card for and it works for two days then it stops working so I guess my Xbox live gold card expired even tho I just got it I know this because all the games I need the card for don’t work a error thing pops up and says please sign in to account u redeemed or redeem Xbox live gold,xbox game pass. and then at the bottom it’s a button that says cancel and that’s it so am I going to get my money back for the card not working or can y’all fix this like what am I supposed to do I spent 25$ on this card and it don’t work

    I cannot redeem Microsoft reward points

    I was trying to redeem them on my Win10 PC through the Edge browser.

    I tried another browser (Chrome) but same problem occurred with redeeming and trying to contact tech support.

    I then went to my Xbox 1 S and used the Rewards app there and was able to redeem my points.

    First of all I suggest you check if you have a valid payment option in the Xbox Account (the game is free with Xbox Live Gold but you need it to download Xbox 360 Games).

    I'm in the same situation as the poster but what if I (we) buy canadian points off the internet. Do you think, when redeemed here in aus (on canadian xbox with region canada), will they be accepted/work?
