I think I completely remove my account and create a new account

I have the same problem.

I saw the error code 0x80a4001a and I foolowed your instructions "Remove your Xbox account from the console and recover your account to the
console".

Unfortunately, I think I completely remove my account and create a new account and gamertag with my e-mail adress. I lose my xbox live gold and my games progession.

Is that possible to recover my old account with my old gamertag ?

First time posting here .
So recently i bought a used xbox one with few digital games in it playable off course. As i have learned that I am able To play these games because seller has this xbox as his home console, even though there was mo sign in .
So ya , i now want to remove his account completely from this Xbox even though i will not be able
To play his games anymore.
So how to remove his home account from this xbox one? And creat
My new home account?

I don't know because i don't try to delete my account in case were i could lose all of the games i have brought with.

I saw this post on another thread, and I made it as a new thread so we could tailor our support to directly to you.

I’m sorry to hear that happened. Now, it seems like instead of singing in to your main account you have created a new one.
I’m sure that the recovery of your account is possible. The main thing about the recovery of the account is for you to know the information that was used to create the account. I suggest to go over our article:

Find your Microsoft account email address.

Not like this because now there is a new mail adress down the profil who own all games and the Xbox live gold, there is difference between the old mail adress and the new witch is down my real gamertag.

Just want to make sure that I'm reading you right.

Are you saying that you have created another account that you bought all your gold and games through and your old primary gamertag is tied to an older email?

If that is the case, then you can always go ahead and designate your console as the account with the Gold's home console following the steps at

How to designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox. That way, you can share that Gold with your preferred gamertag.

Some people try to delete their older account to try and free up their gamertag for a new email, but when you close an account, the gamertag associated with it becomes unavailable for some time until Microsoft releases it.

I think the best permanent fix for this personally is to change your new account's gamertag to something similar to what you used to have.
