Discus and support i switched my alias and now cant log into my account in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; i tryed to make my alias to my main email because i forgot my old email password so i changed the alias but then it made a new account and now it says...     i tryed to make my alias to my main email because i forgot my old email password so i changed the alias but then it made a new account and now it says the account dont exist i was only tryna buy some stuff with my reward points

    Need new primary email

    You would have to log into the account that has your email address you want to use now and change the alias.

    Then you'll be able to log into the account that has your gamertag and you can switch it.

    Being prompted for Microsoft account password to sign in every time.

    Having the same issue on my Xbox One. It's driving me nuts. It all started when I changed my email alias.

    I'm starting to think my Xbox One logged in account HAS to match the primary (email) alias. Just switched my primary alias back to what I had originally, I really hope this fixes it. So frustrating. Microsoft really needs to fix all this.

    BTW there is no password at sign-in setting on the Xbox One. Is T Ghost's solution for the 360?

    Locked out of Xbox Live.

    This same thing has just happened to me! I changed my alias, I then tried to log into my Xbox one account and it's asking me for a password for my old alias. Even though I know the password, xbox one is not accepting it..wth? I can log into my account online
    with my new alias (this one) just fine.

    This is beyond crazy! Some help would be most appreciated!

    If I add alias email address and then remove my primary is it mean I will loose my all data on microsoft account or I can logged it just normal and there wont be xbox account on it. I dont want he had access to my Microsoft account as alias.
