i STILL NEED HELP recovering my old xbox account

Yes I understand but Microsoft or not this is embarrassing to see that there is nothing else that can be done. The account recovery steps and support is done poorly and has not improved. I can have all the information of my account such as the games i played, gamertag, the friends i had, etc. Yet, because i do not have my password all of that information is nullified. Therefore, leaving my account in limbo and its heartbreaking really to see that there is no one that can help me.

Unfortunately, the Microsoft Account Recovery form is the only way you can recover an account.

I understand that this is not the answer you were looking for, but it is the only valid answer. If you contact Microsoft support you will be told the same thing. Microsoft Support cannot reset your password or provide a link to reset your password.

In the previous link it is indicated:

"A customer support advocate won't be able to help you beyond what you can do for yourself in the form. To protect your account and its content, advocates aren't allowed to change account details or send password reset links."

I suggest you try to fill out the account recovery form again. It is possible to fill the form twice a day. If you are having trouble with the recovery request, you can always create a new account and try again later when you remember something new that might help.

In the online form, you will be asked about the subject lines of the emails you have recently sent from your account, your date of birth, your credit card information and other details that only you can know. You don't need to know all the answers. If you don't know the exact answer, just give a close answer.

so I had a old xbox account that was attached to my moms work email and microsoft has stopped accepting work emails for account and when I try to sign into it it says the account doesn’t exist so I was wondering if microsoft has deleted the account or if there is a way to get it back

How old are we talking? When was the last time you logged in?

I ask because if you don't login to your xbox profile for 2 years or login to your associated Microsoft account for 5 years then they do delete it for inactivity.

If the account was already deleted then its too late to try and recover it

No no no do NOT give out the email lol, there are some crooks out there.(You'd be surprised what they can do with just your email.) Glad I saw this.Alright, go to the Xbox.com website , and type in the email and what you think the password could be. Try
it , if it doesnt work, click "Forgot?" and see if some options are available (ie them sending a code to your phone / an alternate email). If not, you may have to take it up with the support line.
