I started my Game Pass subscription when it was $6 per month. Will it last?

However, I am still wondering what will happen if I upgrade my subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and then come back to Xbox Game Pass for PC. Will I pay $6 per month(then-current price) or pay $10 per month(current normal price). Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about the price of your subscription, and the possibility of it changing prices.

As per the disclaimer at the bottom of the page for
Xbox Game Pass for PC, it reads this; " After promotional period, subscription continues to be charged at the then-current regular price (subject to change), unless cancelled."

If you do upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you will be charged the $1 upgrade fee, but once your subscription renews [that is, if you do not

turn off recurring charges] it will return to the $14.99 price, plus applicable charges.

As Xbox Game Pass for PC is no longer in the "Beta" state, the price will more be that of the regular value, which would then ben $9.99 per month, again, plus any additional taxes based on your states digital laws.

Per the FAQ, your existing subscriptions (both Gold and Game Pass) are combined and then converted at parity to Game Pass Ultimate. So if you have 12 months
of Gold and 6 months of Game Pass, and you do the upgrade now, you would get 19 months of GP Ultimate (1 month for the starter subscription, plus 18 months for your total subscriptions).

However, when you convert and THEN redeem prepaid codes, you still get a conversion, but at a lower ratio.
