I spilt water on my controller and now LB is constantly being pressed even while the controller is being untouched. Any possible solutions to fix this?

Hi. My name is Brilliant and I am happy to assist you today.

You may have to get your controller repaired instead. If you've registered your device, sign in at Device services to see the device's warranty status. If it's within warranty, repairs are free. If your device is out of warranty, you'll be charged a repair fee.

If you haven't yet registered your device, you can follow the steps here: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/warranty-service/register-your-product

For more details on the above kindly visit: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/warranty-service/getting-your-product-serviced

I hope this helps resolve your query.

Can no longer connect to internet/XBox live after years of no problems.

Power down, press and hold the sync button (the small one to link in wireless controllers) and while holding it press the power button.

Continue to hold the sync button until the console is booted up.

Go to System Settings and choose storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence: LB-RB-X-LB-RB-X where LB is the Left Bumper and RB is the Right Bumper

Now, retry updating from the USB drive.

Green Light of Start button not turn on but the console correctly startup..

Did you try linking your controller to your xbox by pressing the small round button next to LB on your controller while pressing the button by the usb on the xbox?
