I spilled water in my xbox and it went into the fan so now it wont turn on i already left...

buy a new xbox, it will have hit the fan and spread across the board, it takes seconds to corrode if powered on, you can either take to a repair shop to see if they can fix but it won't be a lasting fix or replace. it is dangerous to try and use now.

Sorry to hear about what happened. I am afraid to inform you that a liquid damage is not covered by a Standard Limited Warranty unless you have a warranty plan that includes liquid damage.

Lol I got my XBox wet too trying to let it fry right now... But I'm not sure it will recover because i spilled the whole cup. But fortunately only a tiny bit got in the fan and none of it spilled where the cords are, and also most of it spilled to the floor.
Will it be okay?

Once half a glass of water was spilled into my xbox. Honestly i do not know how it can be still working. At first i thought it was going to be broken, but it worked well. Cant have an explaination for that, maybe the water was just less than i saw.

In general, if a liquid gets into it, the console will break: simply because the open part of the case has the fan and the motherboard under it

rice is the worse thing you can do, it has a residue and powder on it that gets everywhere, the amount of phones and laptops i have had to repair that have had liquid damage and then user has dunked it in rice is a nightmare. plus rice does not work very well, if at all.

It would be better to get the xbox checked for corrosion before using it again, it may be ok, or may need a small repair but if turning on and not checked coudl make the entire situation worse.
