II can't understand! The Steam Edition is already signed in with an Xbox account. It's a Microsoft Xbox game after all, isn't it? It shouldn't be this hard!

Thanks for your help. Adding extra accounts and linking as a family is starting to sound a little convoluted so I think I'm going to pass on gamepass. I don't understand why they've made it so complicated. On steam I simply sign into the steam launcher and
viola, all my games are playable. I don't have to go and link my steam launcher account to another steam store account via a separate steam store app, its all right there in the one launcher.

I hope they don't sell all of their Day One editions for at least a year... still can't believe the 24 call home feature... switching to the Wii U and steam, effective immediately... so long MS, the 360 + Live was a blast.
