I never sent anything in for repair, and I've only owned this controller for less than a month. I think you missed the part where I bought a regular Xbox controller, not an elite. I don't have joysticks, and I never sent in my original controller because they told me to keep it. I was told I would be sent the same model and color by support.

I had the same problem but I sent a series s controller and I got a one s controller in return, and the series s controller I sent came with my Xbox, brand new

I sent mine in the original box and they did not return it in an original box just plain cardbord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's fine with me. I just thought it was odd that they sent me back a box that, excluding the red ring, was actually more broken than the one I sent in.
