It's strange that they returned it without repairing it, probably they identified that their control is not defective.

I suggest that you try to verify if your control is in fact having problems, remembering that the elite control you can make several configurations.

If you really have problems you need to send it back to technical assistance.

Try to send it again to technical assistance, explain exactly what the problem is, I'm sure that technical assistance will solve your problem.

It is in fact defective the right bumper button does not work every time I press it it is a mechanical issue( that unfortunately happens more than it should) not a software issue. I am aware of how to set up the controller in the Xbox accessories app. This will be my 3rd elite controller and probably my last.

i payed £80 for a replacement elite controller which was sent to me with a broken left bumper, so i sent it off for repair all to have to sent back with a broken right thumb stick! now it just says repair complete and says its out of warrenty with no way to sent it for repair again and when i try to contact surport it says unable to call back! so im stuck with a controller with bad stick drift i payed £80 for. they really need to sort out there customer sevice.

Yeah im on my 2nd elite 2 controller.. first one started getting bad left stick drift after about a month.. sent it in, waited, got back a refurbished one, it was great for about a month and then bad right bumper double click. I love the customization options
and profiles but such widespread defects make this thing NOT worth buying at all.
