    Code is damaged on the XBOX live card

    How much of the code is missing now? If it's just 1 or 2 letters/numbers, while it may take a little while, you can still probably get the code working by guessing random inputs. Just be careful in the future when scratching the coating off. You don't
    need to scratch that hard at all, much like a lottery scratch-off ticket. I hope you can figure the code out and get it working; good luck!

    Did you scratch off the code containing the gift card code? Could you try guessing which letter or number it could be? I used to do that back on the xbox 360 Microsoft point days.

    wheres the qr codes?

    Likely easier (cheaper) to cover up, with the "scratch-off" material, a few numbers/letters than a larger qr code....

    Where did you purchase the gift card from? Do you still have the receipt?

    You will have to contact the Xbox Support team for them to assist you on that matter. Be sure to prepare images of your proof of purchase and the front & back of the card where the serial number is visible.
