I redeemed the minecraft capes in a wrong account

Sorry to hear about that, however, once you redeemed them, in-game items aren't transferable from one account to the other so it's always best to redeem them on the right account moving forward to help prevent this from happening again.

Kindly double-check that you're logged into the same Microsoft account where you redeemed the codes. If incase you're using a different account in the Launcher, the capes won't appear.

Please make sure as well that you're using the correct edition of Minecraft. The TikTok and Twitch capes are currently available for the Bedrock Edition, with availability for the Java Edition expected later.

And to give you a heads up, it can take up to 72 hours for redeemed capes to appear in the Minecraft Launcher. This delayed is caused by server-side processing.

The Menace Cape should first appear in the Bedrock Edition dressing room.

Kindly double-check that you're logged into the correct Microsoft account where you redeemed the cape because if you're using a different account in the Minecraft Launcher, the cape won't appear.

And then close and reopen the Minecraft Launcher to refresh your account and sync any redeemed items.

To set your expectation properly, it can take up to 72 hours for it to show up in your Minecraft account. Please know that this delay is normal and caused by server-side processing.

After a cape is granted or you redeem a code, it appears in the dressing room of your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition profile. Capes are often granted to Minecraft: Java Edition profiles at a later date only after participation ends.

If you want to receive your cape on your Minecraft: Java Edition profile sooner, you can try to activate it by signing into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Here’s how:

Wait for notification that your cape was granted or redeem your code.

Start the Minecraft Launcher.

Sign into the Launcher using the Microsoft account you use to play Minecraft.

Start the latest release of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Select Dressing Room and locate your item in the appropriate section.

Exit Minecraft: Bedrock Edition after you verified that your item is available in the Dressing Room.

Sign out of the Minecraft Launcher and close the application.

Restart the Minecraft Launcher and sign in again with the same Microsoft account.

Select Minecraft: Java Edition in the Launcher.

Select Skins.

Highlight the skin you are currently using.

Click … and select Edit.

Click your cape and select Save & Use.
