i redeemed a gift code and it wouldn't let me download it and i can't redeem it again

i redeemed an xbox gift code on microsoft, i redeemed it sucessfully but it wouldn't download.

I have tried to fix the problem but made it worse as now i can't see it download and i can't find it on my PC anymore. I tried to redeem it again and it wont let me.

What is the game? Also was the code for the Xbox or PC version of the game. Asking because redeeming a code for the Xbox version of a game wont necessarily give you the PC version unless the game is a play anywhere title.

Firstly, please ensure that you have redeemed the code on the correct Microsoft account. You can check this by logging in to your Microsoft account and checking your purchase history. If the code has been redeemed successfully, it should appear in your purchase history.



If the code has been redeemed successfully, but you're still unable to download the game, please try the following steps:


1. Search for the game in the Microsoft Store: If you're signed in under the account where you redeemed the code, search for the game in the Microsoft Store. It should tell you to install (and not to buy) the game if you already own it.

2. Check if the game is playable on PC by checking the description of the game.

3. Check your storage space: Ensure that you have enough storage space on your PC to download the game. You can check this by going to Settings > System > Storage.



4. Check your download queue: Sometimes, downloads can get stuck in the queue. To check your download queue, go to the Microsoft Store app and click on the three dots in the top right corner. Then, click on "Downloads and updates" and check if the game is listed there. If it is, try restarting the download.



If none of the above steps work, please try resetting the Microsoft Store app. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Store > Advanced options > Reset.

received xbox one GOW bundle (500GB system) as a gift..redeemed code but it did not download. When I attempt to redeem again receive message that already has been redeemed. Do not see in my games or QUE awaiting download. When to store on system and it wants
me to buy for 39.99. Any ideas?

I can't redeem this gift card code
