i redeem a microsoft giftcard with my points, it hasnt been added to my balance and codes...

Keep in mind it can take up to 24 hours to receive the funds after redeeming them. If it's been that long, check your order history on the redemption page of the site and it should give the option to either resend them or send a code to be redeemed. Of not, contact Microsoft Rewards support via the contact link at the bottom of the rewards site.

I downloaded my beta profile to a friends console and added then redeemed microsoft points to my account. Then I tried to make purchase and it says my microsoft point balance is at zero as if the points were never added in the first place. I tried to redeem
the card again and it says this card has already been used.

If you redeemed your rewards points for a Microsoft gift card or Xbox gift card, the balance should automatically be added to the account balance for the account that redeemed the points. They don't send you a code typically.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community. If you redeem your points for Roblox Digital Code/Robux you will receive a redeemable code which you can share with others. However, if you redeem your points for Microsoft or Xbox gift cards, you will not receive a gift card code as it will automatically be added to your account balance. I hope this helps!

I am not sure this makes sense to me. I can pay for the Gamepass with my Microsoft account, just not anything else?

Can I transfer my Microsoft account balance to my other xbox account? I redeemed Microsoft points for a gift card and it was added directly to my account instead of giving me a code to add to the Xbox account.
