    I recieved a code but was in wrong region


    I recieved a code [Mod Removed - Please do not post tokens on our forums.] and it was for the wrong region. And now I redeemed the code and I can't use it for anything I wasn't as it is in brazillian currency.

    Hello i recieved a promotional code for $10 as compensation due to an error that occured with my subscription but when i went to claim it i was informed it was for the wrong region.

    You won't be able to recieve a different code if it was a gift purchse from a friend they'll have to request a refund. For you to recieve a code for your region you'll have to purchse it in your region itself.

    Pur-riskrejected-crossregion. Cannot buy games from Argentina.

    So i changed the region of my microsoft account. Signed into the xbox store, but i didnt recieve any notification. However i did recieve an email that stated the region has been changed. My xbox is still coded to argentina.

    however still no luck. Could it be because my subscriptions are from the us still?

    Hey Lach27 -

    Like ngocphi said, this sounds like an account/region mismatch. Please read over the guide on how to

    Change Your Xbox Live Region     as this would enable you to redeem your Deus Ex codes. Do note that once you change your region, you will be unable to change it back for 90 days. If you are due to PCS back stateside before then, it might be more advisable
    to simply wait until you return. However if you have more than 90 days left on your tour in Korea, the best solution would be to match your account region to your physical location using the guide above.
