That will work fine with Xbox Series X,

However you wont get the 120hz refresh rates at 4K, as that requires to have HDMI 2.1, other than that your TV is fine to use, if your not to bothered about 120hz refresh rates at 4K as an issue for you, there's no need for a new TV.

This is the same monitor as I have. I mainly use it for my PC, but I've also connected my Series S to it too. Unfortunately, you won't be able to select 1440P and 120Hz on the LG 27GN850 as it tops out at 100Hz on HDMI at 1440P.

The work around is to change the resolution to 1080P and then select 120Hz. Games on the Series X will still render at 4K but be super-sampled down to 1080P. Yes, it's not as good as the native resolution, but the loss in picture quality shouldn't be that
noticeable. I'm pretty impressed how my Series S looks on it.

if you can sell your manual it only supports 120 at 1080

If you didn't buy something that retails for $500, you're never going to see the electronics to support true 120 Hz. without a PC

Solution 1: LG TV - How to update an LG Smart TV | LG USA Support would you please make sure that your TV is updated with the current firmware.

Solution 2: Set up 4K gaming at 120 Hz on Xbox Series X | Xbox Support. It will walk you through setting up your console.

Solution 3: Make sure Freesync premium is off, as this caused Dolby vision issues on my Xbox with my LG CX.

You won't get 120 fps on that TV, as it's only a 60hz display, 60hz = 60 fps at most

To get up to 120 fps at 4K, you need a TV that supports 120hz and has HDMI 2.1 ports and again your TV only has HDMI 2.0 ports, but most games on the Series X are locked to 60 fps at 4K,

Something like the LG CX is the best TV to get at the moment, and that's a TV that can go 4K at 120hz,

A 60hz display = up to a maximum of 60 fps

A 120hz display = up to a maximum of 120 fps.
