I got rdr2 regular edition and downloaded it ( 100 GB ) though the game pass, now if i bought the special edition will i have to download another 100 gb

Sorry, you misunderstand. It went to the part where it would usually do the download, but there was no downloading. it just checked to see if the file was there, and since it was, it moved to the next. since the game had already been installed, it just used the existing files. all it had to do was set up the new user profile in the registry.

Also, it wasn't 100 GB, it was over 200 GB because i bought the premium VIP version so both expansions were included.

you initially download a approximately 2 GB loader which downloads the rest of the game. Has that completed running for a final size over 100 GB?

I bought the digital version of ForzaHorizon 5 - it's installed, it takes up over 100 GB on the disk - the game works and it's ok, BUT once a month there is an update of the console system, then to play ForzaHorizon 5 you have to download the game update (the game says it needs to be updated) and so every month it updates 14 GB ... however, the size of the game on the disk does not change.... But why does the game itself have to update after every console update?
